Night of Magic 2010
One of our best fundraising years on record!!!
As usual this elegant evening was a huge success! Everyone looked stunning in their party best and everyone took out their pocket books and supported Chief Joseph's Arts & Sciences Committee with a passion. Raising over $22k in gross dollars overall, this event also pulled almost $3k over to the 4th/5th Grade Oregon Trail Overnight. Paddles were flying as our famous Auctioneer, John Bachelor from Auciton Oregon (and the owner of two neighborhood businesses: Mocks Crest Tavern and the Greely Ave Bar & Grill) did his usual magic.
Next years after school Arts & Science Enrichment programs promise to be amazing and better organized because of the dedication and commitment made by the volunteers and because of the funds raised by the community at this event.
We are currently seeking Night of Magic Auction Committee members. It does take an entire year to plan this amazing event so we are happy to get started right away, with your help next year can be the year we reach (or exceed!) our goal of $25k.
Night of Magic 2009
Our biggest fundraiser was a HUGE success!!!
Night of Magic Part 1, 2009
The Night of Magic Benefit Auction was
What a beautiful night!
It was so fun to see everyone all dressed up and relaxing with some lovely beverages in their very own Chief Joe glasses! We enjoyed some wonderful food at the buffet, elegant music by Mr. Olson's band, a very exciting and lucrative silent and live auction, and the DJ stylings of DJ Clint Kuper!
The decorations were provided by Mr. Jim Hartley and must be seen to be truely appreciated! One of the original flowers is on display in the office! Check it out!
We raised $10k for the CJ Arts & Sciences Committee to provide both in class and after school arts and science classes to all our students. Spring classes start the week of March 30th so make sure you received a class registration slip and sign your student up today!
